Kirti Temple, Porbandar is a popular national monument of the Gujarat,india. that was said to be the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. the Kirti Mandir is located in the Porbandar city, a big town of Gujarat state. The city also has a good mythologicals and association. Its believed that Sudana, Lord Krishna's classmate resided in the city. Porbandar was thus known as a Sudanapuri. The Kirti Mandir, Porbandar has a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and contains a library with the books on Gandhism and other, a spinning hall, children's nursery and a lovely prayer hall to this mandir.This Temple is constructed adjacent the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhiji was born in Porbandar city in 1869. Innumerable to the Indian tourist visit Kirti Mandir of Gujarat. The Kirti Mandir, Porbandar city has a huge Gandhian library which has an very popular collection of valuable books on Gandhian thought.
